Message from Pastor Cynthia

November 9, 2017

Dear Beloved Community,

Blessings from our God; who was and is and ever shall be.

Thank you to our Trustees and all who participated in our Fall Work Day this past Sunday after worship. How life-giving to come together and tend to our beautiful grounds and building that provides a solid foundation for our mission and ministry.

As a people of faith, following God’s ethic of compassion and justice, let us continue to stand against the horrific gun violence creating hell on earth. Enough. The time is now to end this senseless chaos. Below are links for you to take action for sensible gun control and legislation.

Things You can do to Help End Gun Violence

I hope you are planning to attend our after-worship presentation and conversations on deepening our faith formation for our children, youth and ourselves led by Rev. Kevin Brown, Associate Conference Minister of Faith Formation for Children, and Youth on Sunday, November 19, 2017, from 11:30 am – 1pm. We are having a potluck luncheon; please bring a dish to share.

In gratitude to our God who calls us together to engage in life-giving, hope-stretching, justice-seeking, mutual ministry...

Blessings, Pastor Cynthia

If you missed Sunday's sermon, you are invited to listen here... Please share with friends and family, and invite them to worship too!
