Message from Pastor Cynthia

February 22, 2018

Dear Beloved Community,

What are you hearing as you listen to that still small voice of God? What are you hearing as you listen to the wisdom of your body? What are you hearing as you listen to your life? Where are you being called out into the world to be God’s healing, peace-creating presence?

As we journey further into the Lenten season and engage our worship theme Listen: Hearing that Still Small Voice and Finding Your Own, I invite you to try on the possibility of worship as a spiritual journey, as we gather with multi-sensory, meditative, and contemplative Christian prayer practices to listen more deeply for God’s voice. Throughout the week may you continue to engage in these rich practices as you attend to your ongoing spiritual formation and readying for new life and resurrection on Easter.

Richard Rohr, in his work, Wondrous Encounters, tells us:

As a justice-creating people, we need to keep seeking the Source and Ground to sustain us in our ongoing work of peace and justice.

In gratitude to our God who calls us together to engage in life-giving, hope-stretching, justice-seeking, mutual ministry...

Blessings, Pastor Cynthia

If you missed Sunday's sermon, you are invited to listen here... Please share with friends and family, and invite them to worship too!
